  • Armed with a Nikon D7100 and her Tamron 600 Zoom lens, Darcy stood along the roadside to capture the rare Gila River Wild Horses. As the sun rose from the east, it cast the perfect light onto these marvelous creatures. Darcy was focusing on the dark brown horse to the right when she heard hoves beating onto the desert floor. She saw movement out of the corner of her eye, and she whipped the zoom back just in time to capture this moment.
